K-KLASS VAPES THUNDER ENDURO TEAMS / DRIVERS
RML
Drivers Champion NIKEMIKERULES has joined forces with WeeBilly for possibly the strongest lineup in the field. The team are running a pair of the beautiful TVR Tuscans and they will be the cars to beat. Billy runs a smaller programme so they will have to maximise every round to win that, but don't be surprised to see Mike winning the drivers and class titles again, especially with the support.
RML DEVELOPMENT
RML are running a development team for the first time in the series, for long time part team owner Robraceruk and new signing Mad2210. The new Lotus Esprit looks great on traction in slower corners for an RWD car, and the test and development that RML run will keep the team in the hunt all season It will be fascinating to see how they go against their sister team in the points. They will win a round at least this season.
CERBERUS
Kinkycowboy and Devil Lord 13 are back, having replaced the Escorts of last season for the Audi TT's this. The car was late and the development curve will be step, but Kinky is a very good test and development driver, and his team mate is the current Class A champion. The team only grabbed one podium last season, but were mega consistent, a bit more speed and the skies the limit.
KRR RACING
Reigning Teams Champions, KRR are back again with the new Nissan 370z, with RangersRick in AWD and BMR Sutton in RWD. Rick is the preseason favourite to win the Class A, and to challenge for the top 5 overall in the championship. Teammate BMR Sutton won and drove brilliantly last season, and is capable of challenging for the title if he gets the car handling to his liking.
JDR RACING
New family team set up to run newcomer NitroRushMini, and the team have picked up the Corvette which has impressed heavily in testing. They may be a dark horse for independent honours, the driver has already shown himself capable with a podium in the K-Class Cup, so it will be interesting so see if they can bring that good form into the new season.
DART
DART are running the works Alfa Romeo's, with the 8c. The team had a strong Season 1 with the Ferrari's and Major Raver and Wambogini can be relied on to bring the cars home. They have a strong tuning background which always sees the car gentle on its tyres and easy to drive. Wambogini is a strong AM runner, whilst Major Raver scored a podium last season with 3rd at Suzuka.
Alert-IT
Alert-IT had a difficult season 1 trying to get to grips with the BMW M2, but are hopeful the new NIssan will improve the teams fortunes. Dubbed Godzilla by the team, the car is driven by team boss Captain Storer and a second car may be available later in the season if a suitable driver is interested.
DMR RACING
One of the most popular teams in the pitlane, sees the Kia Stinger in the hands of Kenty and Penfold. Last season the team stuggled with a the Hyundai's, but should promise with a pole position at Maple Valley for Kenty. The team came close to running the Bentley, but the Kia looks a better handling car and Kenty is hoping for Class A honours, and Penfold is a fvourite to take the AM crown.
DARE
Satellite team set up in the THORS series by DART, DARE is running a Ferrari 360 this season for CQR Rob and Bradderstig. The pair are both likely winner and challengers for the Teams Title. DARE had a promising season 1 running a Lotus Evora and CQR Rob scored a fine third place in the car at Mugello.
CK MOTORSPORT
CK Motorsport and owner driver ABigPieKey, had a fantastic debut season in Season 1, running a Nissan GTR. A regular points scorer, ABigPieKey challenged for the Class A honours and podiums through the season. For this season the team are running a mega light Alfa 33 with technical support for DART, that could bring them there first ever victory.
HOPPERS SPORT
Hoppers Sport joins the Thunder Enduro series, for season 2, with drivers Hopperswwfc hoping to kick on from a season last year driving a Lotus. The team is keen and the Porsche is a car the driver enjoys running. He may run a second version later in the season if a driver can be found.
QUICKSILVER
CelticFox and his team have picked the fantastic Aston Martin which should get better as the season goes on. A start last season, Celtic was on the podium more than once, including a brilliant drive to second place at Road Atlanta. A very fast driver, if at times slightly unlikely, Celtic is likely to lead Quicksilver in the hunt for the best independent honours.
HOPPERS SPORT ACCADEMY
Hoppers Sport second team have done a deal to run the promising Subaru BRZ for AtomStew. Atom is a quick driver over a lap and proved that in the few rounds he ran later in the season, if he finds consistency he will be fighting for top 10 finishes this time around.
FYFE FLYERS
Devilsbogeyman and the Fyfe Flyer team are the ultimate back of a trailer club racing team to be admired, a fighter that runs independently and on a shoe string compared to his rivals. He is a pre season favourite in AM, who qualified on pole and led at Suzuka in Season 1 until retirement.
SAUBER ALFA ROMEO
Carcrazycal is a fast driver, with a proven record of wins and championships in the PK Motorsport series. A late entry to the championship, the independent team has picked up the Alfa Romeo discarded by another team, and Cal is more than capable of making it a regular race winner.
TEAM HARD
One of the top teams from THORS, Team Hard join the series with team boss and AM driver Diboor in the lead car. Diboor has been a regular race winner in THORS and the team is more than capable of turning the Mercedes into a competitive car. A second car is again entered for RGreenwood, who challenged for victory at Sebring in season 1.
K-CLASS VAPES RACING
Series sponsors K-Class Vapes, have entered a team, buying last seasons Ford Escort Cosworth from Cerberus and entering Basslinejunkio in it. The car was one of the best in AWD last season, and with Cerberus help this team could challenge for the top 10, and Bassline for AM honours.
SMEG RACING
New single car independent team, run and driven by Badbeat. Showed some promises in a couple of rounds last season in a Honda Civic, Badbeat is planning a full campaign in the Mercedes and will be challenging for class honours in the AM Class.
