Car Choice: -

Only 3 of the same model is allowed on the grid.  The first to sign up gets the car, although those using a model from the season before get the first option to keep that car.  Team mates must run the same car as well.  Car Builds can be found here.

Race Format: -

The sprint race will be a short race around 15mins long.  The feature race will be around 30mins longer and have a mandatory pitstop in it.

Teams: -

Teams are up to three people, you can also enter as a one car team.  We do run a team Championship in the TORC Touring Cars.  Team mates must run the same car.  You must have at least one AM or two ProAM runners in your team to run as a three car team.  A Car/Manufacture series runs as well, with the first 2 out of the 3 cars scoring each week.

Points: -

Points are awarded in the Sprint race. 9,6,4,3,2,1 for the top 6 in each class.  1 point in each class for the fastest clean lap, and 3,2,1 as bonus points for the overall top 3.  For the Feature Race the points are issued as 25,22,20,18,16,14,12,10,9,7,5,4,3,2,1 for the first 15 finishers overall.  A bonus point will be given to the fastest clean lap by a driver from each class.  The Champion is the person with the most points overall. Qualifying: -

The grid for round 1 Sprint race will be random.  For Round 1 Race 2 Feature race, the grid will be a reserve of that sprint race.  Each week from then on the Sprint race will be a reserve of the Championship positions by class, the feature race a reverse of the Sprint race overall.  None finishers will start at the back of the grid.

Si's and Penalties: -

Any Si's to be sent to the admin team.  Please review them in advance of sending.  How you think an accident played out, can look very different hen looking at the replay.  Any penalties can involve a time penalty, grid penalty or disqualification from the results.  Any Si's received will be discussed with all parties involved in the accident before any decision is made. "Push to Pass" will result in a 5 second penalty.  if you are found guilty of this three times in a season, you maybe disqualified.  Any push to pass incidents that cause damage to another car, will have a penalty issued equal to the time lost by all the innocent parties.
